Nutrisystem Blueberry Pancakes (7 Yummy Stars)

Nutrisystem Blueberry Pancakes
7 Yummy Stars

Ok, I have to admit I was not looking forward to the pancakes because everything I have had up till now was already made and all I had to do is pop it in the microwave for 60 seconds. But with the Pancakes I had to cook.  I DO know how to cook but I have just didn't want to...

The Blueberry Pancake Mix + 1/4 c milk. (except we don't drink milk except nut milks but I didn't have any so I used water).
Mix and add to pan with low heat (says directions) I am used to cooking Everything on High Heat, but I followed the directions.
It looked watery and those are the BLUEBERRIES!
hmmm I let it sit for 60 seconds while I buttered the pan.
As I tried to make smaller pancakes it was just so runny I decided to make it like a thin crape.
That didn't work out so well... LOL
The taste was surprisingly GOOD.
Not great but good, it had a pancake taste, with a dab of slight sweetness. The blueberries were actually a treat to eat because they added flavor.

( I didn't want to compromise the flavor with syrup or butter, so I ate it plain.)

The best part is I'm FuLL! I'll take that!

My mid morning snack is 2 tablespoons of Raw Sunflower Seeds and I'm good until Lunch!
Don't forget your water! (you can have water pain or with tea - but no sweeteners)
If you do use a sweetener use 100% STEVIA! - It's the HEALTHIEST Choice!
Hugs

Nutrisystem Cinnamon Bun Bar (Breakfast)10 Yummy Stars!

10 Yummy Stars!    Cinnamon Bun Bar

This has got to be my FAVORITE so far! I was expecting a dried out granola bar with some white chocolate yoghourt.  But it was OMG like... Soft, chewy, sweet like butter icing on a real cinnamon bun, it REALLY tastes like a Cinnamon Bun! BRAVO to Nutrisystem!

I eat this for breakfast after I finish my Nutrisystem Shake

How I started on Nutrisystem and saved money!

When I first decided to go on Nutrisystem I went online and did the research, I could get 50% off the first month of plan I chose and If I had a a friend on Nutrisystem I could ask her for a "Budy Bucks Code" this would give me an additional $30 off my first order! GREAT or so I thought at first. you see the 2nd month
you still get a discount but it's smaller and you can't use the budy bucks from your friend anymore BUT you can tell a new friend have them sign up they get $30 "Budy Bucks" and Nutrisystem will then credit you $30 towards your foods too. Hmm I thought If I got 4 friends to join Nutrisystem I could then get $120 off my Nutrisystem food budget keeping my costs down and each of my friends get $30 off too. It's a Win Win!!!
On the Third month there is no Nutrisystem discounts so I'd better have more friends get on Nutrisystem to get enough Budy Bucks to cover the price increase and get me to a food budget I'm comfortable with right?..
This could work but sounded stressful for me just starting out, I didn't even know if I liked the food yet. What the don't tell you unless you ask is if you cancel before the three months they back-charge your credit card so you don't get the discounts you pay the full price. Wow when I herd that I almost freaked, the "FULL PRICE" that's almost $400 month. Way more than I would spend on myself for dehydrated food.

So off to Ebay and Craig's List I went. I had already written down my Nutrisystem food choices for diabetics so I knew what I could eat. I just had to find the foods online so I could try the foods and even see if it worked. I took a budget of $130 and went crazy! I now have almost enough for 2 months! Minus the yummy Dinners and more of the powdered or dehydrated ones. I did my best to find the foods on my selection but it wasn't that easy. However all the foods were on the Glycemic Index so I wasn't worried, and I still lost weight! In 7 days I lost 5lbs, I'll take it! Anything to get me away, far away from the 200lb mark! See weight ticker below it is to date I think. I haven't found where I can update it yet but I'm sure I will.
With bags and boxes of my Nutrisystem Food in the corner of my room I separated it into categories, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Dessert. The items that I have so many of I will resell on Ebay, so maybe they can help someone else get started too.

In the beginning...

Welcome to my Nutrisystem Food Review and dieting journey.
I started on Nutrisystem on  8/28/2012 at 197lbs I have been on and off diets for over 17 years since my first child was born, he's now 's graduating H.S. soon and I'm still on a diet! That was it I'd had enough when a friend told me she had lost 60lbs on Nutrisystem in 7months! So I did the research, the "diet" is based on a low Glycemic Index Index because it breaks down slower and allows you to feel full longer. And I have to tell you as someone who is ALWAYS hungry, I feel FULL the entire day! It also can be customized for diabetics. Now as of this point I have been told my blood sugar level is fine however almost my entire family is diabetic so this is a good option for me as a preventative.
The thing I love most about the Nutrisystem diet is that everything is already measured, they figure out the calories, the amount for the serving size, the glycemic index, fiber, proteins, sugars etc. For years i have been reading every nutrition book, learning the nutritional value of this vegetable and this fruit and now I just eat, I no longer have to worry about it. The information is on every package but I refuse to read it because I was obsessed before.
Like I said on 8/28/2012 I started Nutrisystem at 197lbs and this morning 9/3/12 only 7 days later I am 191.4 lbs that's 5.6lbs lost in 7days! I'll take it! The number I'd really like to see soon is 165lbs because in the 18yrs that I've been married my husband has never seen that weight on me.And besides all the health reasons, I am tired of obsessing trying to get thin again, I am just ready to be thin!
